Become a Sponsor for the
2019 Founder’s Day Gala!
The Founder’s Day Gala serves multiple purposes this year! It is a scholarship fund-raiser for high school students interested in pursuing architecture as a career and for college students currently enrolled in architecture degree-granting programs. Additionally, we will be celebrating Drafting Dreams’ 4th Birthday (four years in business) and honoring the namesakes of each one of our Scholarship Funds! We are seeking sponsors to financially support our event and our scholarship funds and would be honored to have your company as a sponsor. Fifty percent (50%) of your contribution to Drafting Dreams, Incorporated is tax-deductible.
Your sponsorship will support the following scholarships:
The Ina Ingram Merit Scholarship for high school students accepted into a college or university to study architecture;
The Ishman B. Davis Pathways Scholarship for college students currently studying architecture at a college or university;
The Beverly Lynn Hughes Experience Award for college students currently studying architecture to travel to national conferences;
The HBCU ArcEd Award, which grants two awards to two of the six Historically Black Colleges & Universities that offer degrees in architecture; and
The Antwon Jamar Johnson Fund for students whose parents lost their lives to gun violence and for the families that support said students.
The sponsorship levels are:
Advocate for Architectural Education:
$100
Associate in Advancing Architectural Education:
$250
Leader in Advancing Architectural Education:
$500
Champion for Architectural Education:
$1,000
